KTEC's Humidity Controller can be mounted inside a desiccator cabinet to measure and control the relative humidity inside the cabinet. Connect Nitrogen gas and 12 volt DC power and the unit will use its two (2) internal valves (low flow and high flow) to purge the cabinet with Nitrogen. Low flow is used when the doors are closed and the %RH is above the setpoint. High flow is used when the doors are opened or when the low flow takes too long to restore the %RH to the setpoint. The setpoint, internal timers and calibration are programmed with the side buttons. Nitrogen purge can be out the side (shown with an amplification nozzle for maximum circulation), or out the back of the controller. A small side fan ensures that the air is continuously circulated within the cabinet and across the internal humidity sensor. The door position can be monitored with either the built-in magnetic sensor, or with a remote door switch.
